What am I looking at?

A reference rate is the exchange rate a central bank publishes once a day for information. It shows how many units of the second currency one unit of the first is worth. It is not a price you can buy or sell at: brokers quote their own prices, which change during the day and include a spread. Rates against the US dollar are calculated by GOTAFIMA from the ECB’s euro rates.
