The Institute
School of Trading
Price action, market structure, and execution discipline.
The school of the live market. It studies how price actually moves, how a position is entered and managed, and the process that separates a considered trade from an impulsive one.
What this school covers
Price action
Reading the market from price itself — candles, ranges, momentum and the context around them — before any indicator is added.
Market structure
Trend, consolidation and reversal as a structure that can be described, so a chart becomes a set of observations rather than an impression.
Technical analysis
What technical tools measure, what they cannot know, and how to use them as evidence rather than as instruction.
Trade execution
Order types, entries, exits, spread and slippage — the distance between the plan and the fill, and how to keep it small.
A risk-aware process
Defining risk before entry rather than after: where the idea is wrong, what it costs to find out, and why that comes first.
Trading discipline
Following a written process under pressure — the habit that makes results attributable to method rather than to mood.
How this school teaches
Trading is taught here as a repeatable process, not as a set of predictions. Every technique is introduced with the conditions under which it fails, because a method whose limits are unknown cannot be risk-managed.
Nothing in this school implies a profitable outcome. Trading carries significant risk of loss, and the purpose of a professional process is to make risk deliberate and survivable — never to remove it.
